CrimeStoppers: There's An App For That!
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — A non-profit anti-crime organization unveiled a "TipSubmit" application Monday for Android and iPhones.
Officials said this is the first mobile application that allows people to submit anonymous tips to the Los Angeles Police Department and other law enforcement agencies.
The new mobile application from "CrimeReports" allows people to submit toll-free anonymous tips via phone, the Internet and the Short Message Service "Text-a-Tip."
