Police: 2 Teens Shot In Santa Ana Grocery Store Parking Lot

SANTA ANA (CBS) — Police say two teenage boys were shot when a fight broke out in the parking lot of a Stater Bros. grocery store in Santa Ana.

According to authorities, the shooting happened at the store located at the intersection of East McFadden and South Standard avenues. Students at nearby Century High School were just being let out early for spring break when the gunfire erupted.

Officials say one of the teens was shot in the buttocks while the other suffered a gunshot to the leg.

Initial reports say the two victims are 16 and 18-years-old. It is unclear what prompted the fight and if the boys were students at Century High School.
