Firefighter Injures Back During Training Drills In Boyle Heights
BOYLE HEIGHTS (CBS) — A firefighter suffered a back injury Sunday while training in Boyle Heights, a fire official said.
Paramedics were sent to the 2900 block of East Cesar E. Chavez Avenue near Evergreen Avenue about 9:56 a.m., Devin Gales of the Los Angeles City Fire Department said.
The firefighter was taken to an area hospital for observation. He is expected to make a full recovery, Gales said.
