7 Hurt In Apparent Gang-Related Shooting In South LA

LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Police Saturday said a woman and six men were shot in South Los Angeles.

Sgt. Jim Thompson of Southeast Station told KNX 1070's Ed Mertz that the victims were shot after a fight broke out at a club near Central Avenue and 120th Street about 4:25 a.m.

One person was reported to be in critical condition. The rest were believed to have suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Police are still conducting their investigation but say the shooting appears to be gang-related.

No immediate arrests have been made.
