Man, 22, Accuses Former Teacher Of Molesting Him For 5 Years

TARZANA (CNS) — A 22-year-old man is pointing the finger at a former middle school teacher he says molested him from the ages of 11-16.

Sean Wellbaum, 39, was arrested Thursday at his home in Canoga Park, police said.

Wellbaum is a teacher at Portola Middle School in Tarzana.

The alleged victim told detectives Wellbaum molested him repeatedly when Wellbaum taught at Columbus Middle School in Canoga Park.

Wellbaum is currently free on $600,000 bail and his arraignment is scheduled for March 18.
