Metrolink Offering Discounted Day-Passes, Tickets For NBA All-Star Weekend
LOS ANGELES (CBS) — Basketball fans headed for Staples Center can leave the car at home this weekend.
NBA players, teams and fans will descend on downtown Los Angeles for NBA All-Star Weekend starting Friday, promising lots of glitz and fun, as well as some major traffic and parking headaches.
In honor of NBA's All-Star Weekend, Metrolink is offering a special $8 day-pass valid for the date of purchase, starting Friday until Monday, Feb. 21. From Union Station, Metrolink riders can transfer free to Metro rail lines and continue on to the Los Angeles Convention Center.
All-Star Weekend events start Friday with the All-Star Celebrity Game. The 4-day All-Star Weekend ends Monday with the NBA All-Star Jam Session.
In addition to the discounted day-pass price, Metrolink is also offering a $3 discount off regular tickets to the Jam Session.
