Broken Water Main Repaired In Torrance, Van Ness Avenue Reopened
TORRANCE (CBS) — Authorities repaired a broken water main in Torrance, reopening Van Ness Avenue.
The main burst near the intersection of Van Ness Avenue and West 164th Street at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, flooding all lanes of Van Ness Avenue between West 164th and West 166th streets, Torrance police Sgt. Jeremiah Hart said.
Torrance Water Department crews were able to fix the main by 9:30 p.m.
