Cheryl Ann Stuart and Mario Alberto Colin entered the plea in Santa Ana Friday to two felony counts of child abuse and one felony count of corporal injury on a child.

They each received 270 days in jail and three years probation.

Police in June found that the 26-year-old Stuart had been tying the boys to their bed and crib by their wrists and ankles to keep them from moving around the room she rented.

Prosecutors say the 31-year-old Colin -- who works with children with behavioral issues-- sent dozens of text messages urging Stuart to tie down the boys.
