Mothers deserve a day to be recognized for all they do and have done. One way you can show your appreciation for any mother in your life (your mom, the mother of your children, even your mother-in-law) is to take her to a nice brunch to celebrate her special occasion. If brunch is on your list of things to do for mom, here are the best places in the county to take her.

Lucca Cafe has a lot to offer for Mother’s Day brunch. In addition to an omelet bar, Lucca also has a carving station with tri-tip and turkey breast. This is a great place to bring the entire family because children ages 11 and younger pay their age for brunch. Mother’s Day brunch is offered from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The cost is $34.95 for adults, $39.95 with champagne.

If you’re going to take a mom out to brunch, it’s nice to do it at a place that has spectacular views. Being in Corona del Mar, The Bungalow has the nice views covered. It also has an amazing menu for your Mother’s Day brunch. For your entree, you can choose from items like poached salmon, a frittata made with crab and artichoke or you can choose to build your own omelet. The cost for brunch at The Bungalow is $28 or $36 with bottomless mimosas or bloody marys.

If you’re looking to take mom to a place with a view, you don’t have to go to a place on the coast. Orange Hill Restaurant has views that you would expect to see in a movie. The good thing about the brunch here is that it is a buffet, so you can load up on all of your favorites including omelets, seafood, carved meats and desserts. Brunch is served from 9am to 3pm, and the cost varies for holidays.

Salt Creek Grille is a good place to take mom because it has a location that is hard to beat. The brunch here is pretty tough to beat too. It includes beignets, omelets, waffles and huevos rancheros. You can add unlimited champagne or bloody marys for a small additional cost that is worth it for what you’re getting. Brunch is served until 2pm.
