Transient Sought In Murder Of Woman Found In West Hollywood Dumpster

WEST HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) —  The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Monday asked for the public's help in the search for a transient in the death of a woman, whose body was found inside a dumpster in West Hollywood.

Abdulla Tario Camran is wanted in connection with the murder of Joie Nicole Kinney, whose body was discovered July 6 in a parking lot on Beverly Boulevard across the street from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Deputies found the body after someone tipped them off that a body had been dumped in the area.

Investigators said the 29-year-old is known to frequent homeless encampments throughout Los Angeles and the West Hollywood area.

Sources told CBS2/KCAL9's Tom Wait Camran is a transient with connections to San Diego. He has a young daughter, has been accused of domestic violence and struggles with drug addiction.

The L.A. County medical examiner has not released a cause of death, and investigator said there were no obvious signs of trauma.

Wehoville.com reported Camran's identification was found in the dumpster along with Kinney's body.

Kinney was also homeless at times, according to investigators. Friends who knew her said she fell off the radar several years ago.

Anyone with information on Camran is asked to call the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.
