Arrest Made In Connection With Shooting Death of Man Outside Stanton Bar
STANTON (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Friday said they've made an arrest in connection with the fatal shooting of a 48-year-old man outside an Orange County bar.
Leobardo "Banda" Valladares was taken into custody about midnight after allegedly holding authorities at bay outside a Garden Grove home for three hours, the Orange County Sheriff's Department said in a statement.
The 43-year-old Valladares is suspected of fatally shooting Francisco Salgado Torres on Sept. 15, in front of the Oasis Bar allegedly after a fight.
The statement said Valladares was booked into the Orange County Jail on suspicion of murder.
No further information was immediately available.
