Suspect Named In Shooting Death Of Man Outside Stanton Bar

STANTON (CBSLA.com) — Sheriff's investigators in Orange County Thursday named a suspect in the shooting death of a man outside a Stanton bar.

Francisco Salgado Torres, 48, of Anaheim was gunned down around 2 a.m. outside the Oasis bar at 10448 Knott Ave. on Sunday., Orange County sheriff's Lt. Jeff Hallock said.

Officials suspect Leonbardo "Banda" Valladares, 43, was the gunman.

Torres got into some sort of altercation in front of the bar before the shots rang out, Hallock said.

Valladares also goes by Noe Hernandez and Antonio Maldanada, Hallock said. He is believed to be in Stanton or Anaheim and is known to patronize the Oasis and Mexico De Noche Bar in Stanton, Hallock said.
