Coldwater Canyon Avenue Reopens 2 Days Ahead Of Schedule

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Coldwater Canyon Avenue in Studio City, which has been shut down for six days a week since late March, has reopened two days ahead of schedule.

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power said the closure between Ventura Boulevard and Mulholland Drive, which was part of a planned water trunk line replacement project, will end at 7 p.m. Tuesday instead of Thursday.

Left turn restrictions, however, will remain in effect until June 1.

Drivers are encouraged to use other routes, including Cahuenga Boulevard/Highland Avenue, Laurel Canyon Boulevard, Beverly Glen Boulevard and the Hollywood and 405 freeways.
