LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Actor Thomas Gibson has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in downtown Los Angeles.
CBS2′s Art Barron reports that Gibson was arrested about 1:37 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of 11th and Grand Avenue.
The Los Angeles Police Department — Traffic Division took the 50-year-old star into custody after he allegedly drove through a barricade that had been set up for the first-ever half-marathon “New Year’s Race — Los Angeles At Night.”
No one was injured.
Gibson was subsequently booked in Los Angeles Central Jail and posted $15,000 bail Sunday.
The Julliard-educated Gibson is known for his roles on CBS’ “Criminal Minds,” “Chicago Hope” and ABC’s “Dharma and Greg.”
