PICO RIVERA (CBS) — Investigators Tuesday released a sketch and photo of a minivan that they said was driven by a suspected child molester.

I hate to legislate and criminalize every last little thing, but the reality is, letting your child use a public restroom by themselves until around age 15 should be as illegal as leaving them in a car. I’m all for letting idiots pay the price of their poor decisions, but children shouldn’t have to pay for bad parenting. They rely on adults who are all too often failing them. There is no excuse for this predator having such easy access to a child, and whoever was in charge of that child’s welfare should be held responsible.
