Australian Truffle season is late May through August and LA eateries are known for taking the truffle food trend to a new level. With master chefs at the helm ready show off with small plates, entrees, sides and even cocktails unlike ever before, menus around town are bound to make culinary history. The tuber melanosporum is not only a delicacy, but the most expensive mushroom in the world, so it's no wonder LA foodies devour them up like candy.

Located in Brentwood, Adoteca is serving up something special this summer. On Monday, June 30th from 5:30pm to 10:30pm, the restaurant will be serving a unique and one-of-a-kind truffle menu for $95 per person. Executive Chef Antonio Mure created the delicious menu featuring black summer truffles from Umbria. Dishes include a veal carpaccio marinated with red wine topped with shaved black truffles, grilled sea scallops rolled with pancetta which is also served with shaved black truffles as well as a delectable grilled filet mignon with Barolo and black truffle sauce topped with a quail egg and shaved black truffles.
