So, last week you were forced to change all of your clocks yet again. And now, even though your house clocks may be correct (though most of you probably still haven't changed them…), you're internal clock is completely effed. Well what better way to help calibrate your system then by going back in time?

No, I'm not talking about hopping into the DeLorean; I'm talking about heading to a place where time has no meaning. LA, meet h.wood Group's first culinary hot spot The Nice Guy. Created by the team who brought you Bootsy Bellows and SHOREBar, this new mafia-inspired lounge will not only allow you to forget the time of day (who can keep track of that anyways) but also the time period.

If you're a bit early for your meal (which is probably the case since you forgot to change your clocks), saddle up to the vintage marble and brass bar to enjoy Brian Stewart's (of SoHo House in LA) and Adam Koral's (of h.wood Group) liquid refreshments, like the dangerously delicious Smoking Gun— one part bourbon and one part vermouth, in a Scotch-sprayed glass.

If you're on time for your reservation, first of all give yourself a pat on the back, then slide into one of the white and yellow floral clothed booths surrounding the room, and soak in the feeling of solidarity with others enjoying a time when life was a little simpler yet a bit more interesting.

Once you settle in and fully appreciate the unique social experience the h.wood Group is known for creating, dive into Chef John-Carlos Kuramoto's (of Michael's Santa Monica) Italian- inspired menu. With delicious spins on traditional meals such as the Nice Guy Burger (maple glazed bacon, arugula, caramelized onion, housemade American cheese, and fries), even the meanest of men are sure to leave with a softer heart.

So, head to The Nice Guy and fugetabout time for a while.
