Located on the northern edge of Huntington Beach and Long Beach, the quaint town of Seal Beach is a great place to spend a night away from the world. With plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from, the possibilities are nearly endless, but nothing kills a buzz like having to pick just one or driving from hot spot to hot spot. With this list and Seal Beach's buzzing night life, you can hit up more than enough venues to get a feel for what the town has to offer, and you can do it all in one night.

thehangoutrestaurant.comIf you want to relax, enjoy the view of the beach goers and take in the nice breeze before beginning your pub crawl journey, The Hangout is going to be your spot of choice. Formerly the "Kinda" Lahaina Broiler, this choice location just screams beach lifestyle, but without all the sand and seagulls ruining your pub crawl. They serve a myriad of food, most residing in the comfort category, as well as fair-priced drinks at the full bar. You can also feel good knowing The Hangout is a sustainable restaurant that also serves ONEHOPE Wine, which means your love of the grape helps them donate 50 percent of the house wine profits to charity.

www.tacosurf.comHead up to Main Street and cross Ocean Avenue and you'll find the Baja joint, Taco Surf. If your pub crawl takes place on a Tuesday, why not make it Taco Tuesday? With dozens of ridiculously tasty taco choices and the coldest cervezas this side of the border, Taco Surf will get you in the beach bum mode in no time. If your pub crawl is lacking a little class, try some of the house wine or go for a crazier evening with some of the bar's original margaritas and signature cocktails. For crawlers that would like to include a little day drinking, Taco Surf's lengthy happy hour (from 2 p.m. to 6 Monday to Thursday and until 5 on Fridays) will get you started on the right foot.

beachwoodbbq.comIf you keep heading down Main Street, you'll come to Beachwood BBQ, and there is no other place in all of Orange County quite like it. With the most extensive list of house brews available in the area (and a live webcam on the website to see which ones are on tap), anyone who takes his or her drinking seriously needs to stop in and say hello. In fact, it would be surprising to find the same beer on tap on two different visits. Add in some of the best appetizers and grub on Main Street and you may end up coming back to end your crawl here. Beachwood also hosts some great events, including live music, growler specials and the occasional beer festival.

O'Malley's On Main

Seal Beach, CA 90740
(562) 430-0631
www.omalleyssealbeach.comLocated next door to Beachwood is the ever popular O'Malley's on Main. The pub atmosphere beats a dive bar any day, and O'Malley's fulfills all the essential pub crawl needs: drinks, pub food, atmosphere and a great staff. You'll only be expected to shell out a mere $3 for any domestic 20 ounce drinks during happy hour, which should be enough to get you down to Main Street early, but stick around for any of the many sports games O'Malley's tends to show. Special note for soccer fans: this will be your second home if you have a World Cup-themed crawl.

Dave's Other Place
1500 Pacific Coast Hwy
Seal Beach, CA 90740
(562) 596-2833This local dive bar (by Seal Beach's standards, anyway) is a neighborhood staple and about a half mile walk from O'Malley's On Main, making it the perfect place to visit to walk off all the food and booze you've consumed on the last four stops. Dave's Other Place is where you'll find friendly barstaff serving drinks and local regulars throwing back beers, enjoying a game of pool and catching the game on TV. Order a cold brew (or maybe an ice tea if this indeed, your fifth bar experience of the night), slide some pucks along the sandy surface of the shuffleboard table and unwind with some friendly banter with the other bar goers.
