See The New TMNT Movie

Date: Monday, August 11

Cowabunga dude! The teenage mutant ninja turtles are back in a brand new live action adventure starring Megan Fox and Will Arnett. Take the kids to Mission Tiki Drive-In Theatre for a night of action, laughs and plenty of popcorn. The movie starts at 8:30 p.m. on screen 3. Adult tickets are $8 and kid’s tickets are $1.

See Justin Timberlake At The Staples Center

Date: Tuesday, August 12

JT and the Tennessee Kids invade the Staples Center on August 12th for the 20/20 Experience Tour. The prince of pop will be performing all the hits from his two part album, “The 20/20 Experience” in addition to a healthy dose of songs from earlier in his career. Concert starts at 8:00 p.m.and tickets range from $49 to $175.

Take The Kids To Baby Rally Monkey Bobble Head Night

Date: Wednesday, August 13

Head to the ballpark as the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim host the Philadelphia Phillies on Baby Rally Monkey Bobble Head Night. All kids in attendance ages 3-14 will receive their very own baby rally monkey bobble head while supplies last. The game starts at 7:05 p.m.and tickets start at $9.50.

Check Out The Hohokum Art Spectacular

Date: Thursday, August 14

Developed by creative production company and modern day art gallery, iam8bit, this show has been described as “bizarre and delightful.” Inspired by the popular Playstation video game of the same name, Hohokum features space, music and one-of-a-kind imagery to create a unique sensory experience. Doors are open from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and admission is free.

Celebrate National Men’s Grooming Day

Date: Friday, August 15

August 15th is National Men’s Grooming Day. Celebrate at Felix Omar Men’s Grooming Studio on Ventura Boulevard. Aside from the traditional shave and haircut, this studio offers a full maintenance job complete with ear trim and neckline updates. Gift certificates are also available for any ladies looking to get a gift for the well groomed man in their life. The studio is open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the week and services range from $20-$75.
