Best Water Play In Los Angeles

The weather is warming up and the end of the school year is upon us. One of the great things about summer is playing outside for hours at a time in the water and under the sprinkler. Pack a towel and some sunscreen and head out for a day of sun, water and fun! Here is a list of some of the best water play spots in the area, ranging from calm, free activities to rambunctious water parks!

Buccaneer Bay- Splash Water Park

Buccaneer Bay located inside the Splash Aquatic Center in La Mirada is owned and operated by the city. This pirate themed water adventure land will keep the kids (and adults) entertained for hours. Buccaneer Bay features a lazy river and three water slides. Buccaneer Bay also has a great children's play area, zero-depth beach entry and two spray pad areas. Your little adventurers will love splashing around like pirates.

Seaside Lagoon is a saltwater lagoon that is the perfect spot to play in the water. The lagoon is home to a large sand area for sunbathing, a playground area and volleyball courts. There is a large grassy area, benches, snack shop and a Ruby's take out window. Pack a cooler and head out to Redondo Beach for a day of fun in the sun.

Stoner Park is home to one of the best splash areas in Los Angeles. Located in West LA, this water play area is the perfect place to cool down. There is a main pool with a slide and a smaller splash and sprinkler area for the younger kids. It's a great place to spend a hot summer afternoon.
