The former House of Pies was on the very lot more than 20 years ago until it was turned into an upscale French eatery known as the Boozy Rouge. In 1990, the building was remodeled and turned into DP’s Pub & Grill and later in 1999, bought out by Rudy’s Pub & Grill. Following a makeover in 2004, this place transformed to the classic warehouse design with a 40-foot retractable roof that is perfect for the California sunshine in the summer. With more than 32 high-definition plasma televisions throughout the bar, locals are always catching the latest game and enjoying the menu that has expanded under Chef David Baumann.
