Many might say that the City of Angels is obsessed with staying fit. According to IDEA Health & Fitness Association, there are an estimated 2,253 clubs or gyms listed in Los Angeles alone. There are gyms that incorporate cardio and strength training, personal training and yoga to get you in your best shape ever. Nonetheless, there is a place for everyone at every fitness level. One of the best group personal training options in the city, Circuit Works combines interval cardio training with weighted strength training in 60 minutes. Ten weight stations are set up weekly (exercises change every Sunday) and work the lower and upper body (think glutes, quads, chest, triceps and shoulders too). After completing each station, fitness buffs head to the treadmill for both high- and low-incline running and sprinting. At the end of the workout, instructors lead a three to five minute abdominal workout highlighting the plank, bicycles, crunches and other creative moves to attain six-packs.
