The fresh pies are sent from their downtown restaurant to one of the 3 locations around Los Angeles and come with a crust made up of butter and shortening as well as sanding sugar for that extra delicious taste. If you haven’t tried Baby Blues BBQ’s Buttermilk Pie, you are missing out. With a rich, pale, creamy and sweet filling, this pie will surely not disappoint. Visit Brite Spot on National Pie Day (January 23rd) in Echo Park and taste their assortment of sweet pies and fun offerings. Brite Spot will be offering $1.23 slices of specialty pie (while supplies last) as well as a pie and dessert themed soundtrack in the restaurant. Specialty Whole Pies will also be available for guests who call ahead (48 hours) and reserve their favorite pie. For the late night crowd, curbside pie pick up is also offered. A portion of all whole pie proceeds will benefit the Silverlake Conservatory of Music.
