Buffalo wings are an authentic American cuisine that pairs perfectly with beer, a bar and sports. Created in upstate New York, Buffalo wings are baked, fried and served with a vinegar-based sauce tossed in butter in a variety of flavors. The flavors range from hot sauce to garlic sauce to BBQ, sweet and sour and more. Kick off your next football game this fall at one of the following Orange County bar/restaurants and nosh on their delicious chicken wings.

Catch all the action of your favorite teams at The Ranch Sports Grill. This restaurant/bar is tucked away in a corner of Ladera Ranch in the shopping center near Home Goods. There are 30 televisions inside, strategically located around the bar, near the tables and 7-by-12 projection screen on the main wall. The atmosphere is casual, family friendly and sports crazy. Chef Freddy said he serves up some of the meatiest wings around with a side of carrot sticks, celery, blue cheese or ranch dressing. The wings come in five flavors — Buffalo, honey chipotle, teriyaki, and BBQ garlic. In case your team is losing and you need an excuse to hide the tears, try habanero flavor.

This now-corporate chain bar/restaurant reigns from a state where people eat, drink and breathe football. When you are at B-dubs, dress casual, cheer loud for your team and order as many wings as you like. There are 16 signature sauces to choose from and the bar has plenty of beer on tap or in bottles, mixed drinks and wine.

Santora’s Pizza Subs & Wings

28251 Marguerite Pkwy Ste 1
Mission Viejo, CA 92692
(949) 364-3282

Santora’s is a simple college spot listed because their customers rave about the wings. You may want to order out for a home football party. Santora’s is considered a dive bar by many with standard service, plastic silverware and dishes but the wings are all the rage with their fans. The wings can be ordered fried or baked, but if you order them baked, be prepared to wait — they are made fresh, not sitting under a hot light waiting for someone to order.
