There’s always something going on at Watermans – daily drink specials, live entertainment and plenty of people watching. Located right off the Strand along the Hermosa Beach Bear, Waterman’s is a relaxing little oasis with good food and casual vibes to go along with it. The service can be a bit slow, especially during peak beach hours, but the staff makes up for it with friendliness. Drinks are half off during happy hour and there’s even a complimentary self-serve chips and salsa bar. It’s nice spot to watch the sun disappear into the ocean too.

The Bungalow

Santa Monica, CA 90401

With its prime location in Santa Monica on the corner of Ocean Ave. and Wilshire, The Bungalow is one of the hottest beach bars in LA. With its rather bohemian vibe, the Bungalow can best described as a place comparable to a vacation home in Costa Rica. The mismatched furniture, the fire pits, the pool table and the ping pong table all add to the beach house party environment which attracts a good looking crowd throughout the week. Located right next to a hotel, The Bungalow gets crowded so make sure to get there early!
