The classic game of billiards originally started as a sophisticated lawn game played among nobles some time in the 15th century and has since moved indoors atop a green-lined table simulating grass. The term billiards is actually an umbrella term that houses three common cue sports, the most popular of which is pool. It's an easy game almost anyone could pick up on and still have fun playing regardless of skill level. Over the years, it has become a popular game found at places that serve beer. Vermont Karaoke & Billiards

Los Angeles, CA 90004

Located in Koreatown is a unique pool hall that doubles up as a karaoke hot spot. It's not nearly as mellow of an atmosphere as some of the above-mentioned billiards, but it still makes the list as one of the best bars for billiards in Los Angeles. The tables may a bit run down, but that's part of what makes it so divey. Frequent visitors of this billiard rave about the soju served here.
