More than 2,000 customers in L.A. and nearly 2,000 more in eastern L.A. County are still without power after strong winds swept across Southern California Tuesday, downing trees and power lines.
A tree fell onto a residential street Saturday in Sunland, knocking down power lines and leaving 2,400 customers in the dark, but no one was injured, city fire and utility officials said.
