Latino artists from across the nation are heading to Los Angeles to show their talents and skills in a national theater festival as part of Hispanic Heritage Month.
A 1946 case that helped to dissolve the path of segregation in California schools was commemorated Monday by the Los Angeles Superior Court, as well as by one of the plaintiffs in the historic case.
David Siqueiros, a spokesperson for the non-profit organization “Amigos de Siqueiros,” stopped by the KCAL9 studios on Saturday to discuss an upcoming showing of a documentary.
Adults and children alike can participate in a variety of activities ranging from dancing, story time, games, concerts and carnival rides while enjoying, reflecting and learning more about Hispanic contributions to society.
