The owner of a Rottweiler that was shot and killed by Hawthorne police in July was charged Tuesday with multiple felonies stemming from video taken of the incident.
The group “Anonymous” — self-described “hack-tivists” — have targeted the Hawthorne Police department in response to authorities fatally shooting a man’s dog.
A man was gunned down and three others were wounded at a New Year’s Eve party in Hawthorne.
Hawthorne police arrested 11 people on suspicion of prostitution, one suspected pimp and 13 men who tried to hire a prostitute.
