Guinness World Records
Developers made history Sunday at the site of the former Wilshire Grand hotel in downtown Los Angeles.
The marathon concrete pour begins Saturday evening and is expected to last 20 hours without interruption. The continuous pour will be verified by an official from Guinness World Records.
The largest photograph ever taken – using the world’s biggest camera – is on display at UC Riverside’s Sweeney Art Gallery in downtown Riverside for the next two months.
If all goes well, two world records – one for the heaviest person to complete a marathon and another for the largest cheerleading dance – will be set at the Los Angeles Marathon.
