Network TV’s four remaining soaps are all nominated for outstanding daytime drama series: CBS’ “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “The Young and the Restless,” NBC’s “Days of Our Lives” and ABC’s “General Hospital.”
It was a clean sweep for CBS on Tuesday as the the network received Emmy nominations for every show in its daytime lineup.
For the first time in decades, the award show honoring the best in soaps, game shows, talk, children’s and cooking shows was not televised on a major network or cable outlet.
