Suzanne Marques
Emmy-award winning journalist Suzanne Marques covers lifestyle and entertainment for CBS2 and KCAL9.
A native Angeleno, Suzanne graduated from USC and started blogging while she was in college, which helped kick off her career in Los Angeles as web producer for KNBC. Her next move was to Eureka, California where she was weekend anchor and reporter.
She worked at KGET in Bakersfield and WXIA in Atlanta, Georgia before returning to Los Angeles, reporting and anchoring for Good Day LA, The Fox 11 Morning News, That’s So Hollywood and FOX 11 Overtime.
Suzanne frequently covers breaking news and has covered the Oscars, Golden Globes, Grammys and Emmy Awards. She has a bit of daredevil in her genes – both of her parents were race car drivers – so she has learned how to surf and fly on the trapeze live on the air.
On the sports sidelines, Suzanne was one of the first to interview soccer superstar David Beckham when he joined the LA Galaxy. She also celebrated in the locker room when the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim clinched one of their many division titles.
Suzanne is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists, The Story Project and The Good News Foundation.
When Suzanne’s not covering the news, Suzanne manages her own blog with lifestyle tips. You can visit her blog: lawoman.com
