It's Saturday night and you've got big plans. You want to look great but you don't want to spend a fortune. The latest trend in beauty is the rise of shops that specialize in one particular type of service. Not only are these "one stop beauty shops" often more affordable, you're typically afforded quicker service. And the one thing they have in common? They do one thing...and they do it well. So where can you go to get a blowout, a professional makeup application or a head full of highlights before your next evening affair? Without an appointment? Check out the list below!

Looking to add a bit of color to your hair without making a serious investment? Tint is revolutionizing the industry by making the service attainable with their services that start at just $47. The two person team, with a combined history of 25 years in the business, decided to design the color-only salon after assessing a need for affordable hair color. Despite the reasonable prices, you'll find the service top notch. The setting is warm and elegant and Frank Dino and Dana Clark only use superior hair color to achieve amazing results. No cutting or styling at Tint, but the venue does provide vanities with all of the products and tools you need to walk out of the salon looking your best.

Other locations throughout southern California

When you walk into the salon that specializes in blowouts, you're greeted with a menu and offered a drink as you sit down to decide which look you'd like the stylist to recreate. What used to be a very expensive styling service is now attainable, since all blowouts, regardless of hair type or length, are just $35. Whether you're looking for a "sleek and smooth" look or something more elegant with loose curls or added volume, you can work with the stylist to achieve the look you want. After the stylist has washed your hair (which is included), sit back, relax, sip on a cocktail, and watch your favorite chick flick as your look is transformed. No cuts or color here...just simple, chic, affordable blowouts.

If a salon is going to specialize in doing something well, women and men all over LA will appreciate that Stript Wax Bar's aestheticians are committed to offering quality waxing services. Anything and everything can be waxed and clients can opt to add on Depilar, a permanent and painless hair removal gel treatment system. The Los Angeles location specializes in additional services such as eyelash perms and tints, South Seas custom full body spray tans, facials, and the infamous Vajacial Bikini Treatment. And just like any facial, it includes the basics...cleansing, exfoliation, ingrown hair removal, a calming mask and a lightening cream.

Blushington proves that getting a professional makeup application is not just for the elite. Stephi Maron, who founded the company, wanted to create a place for women to achieve a natural yet glamorous look at an affordable price. The makeup and beauty lounge offers a variety of services, primarily focused on makeup application. Clients can select from one of six signature looks, an eyes-only option, and a camera ready look. Sessions are just $35. Bonus: the lounge is situated right next door to the DryBar which truly gives definition to the one stop beauty shop theme.
