Man Gunned Down While Sitting In SUV In South LA
SOUTH LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – A man in his 40s was shot to death while sitting in a parked SUV in South Los Angeles early Friday morning, authorities said.
At 3:25 a.m., Los Angeles police responded to the area of Washington Boulevard and Maple Avenue to find a man with gunshots wounds in the front seat of a vehicle.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. His name was not released.
Investigators are unsure if the shooting was gang-related. No suspects have been arrested.
