LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Lakers are reportedly making a push for former Rookie of the Year and MVP Derrick Rose.
Team officials met with Rose for about three hours, according to several news outlets.
The Cavs and Bulls are also pursuing Rose, but the Lakers are hoping more money and playing time here could persuade the point guard to choose the purple and gold.
Rose won Rookie of the Year in 2009 and MVP in 2011 with the Bulls. He has battled significant knee injuries since 2012.
