'Night Of The Living Dead' Director George Romero Dies At 77: Reports
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — George A. Romero, the director of the "Night Of The Living Dead", has died, according to multiple published reports.
In a statement provided to The Los Angeles Times, Peter Grunwald, Romero's longtime producing partner, said he died Sunday in his sleep.
Grunwald told the Times Romero had lung cancer.
Romero's manager, Chris Roe, also confirmed his death to the Associated Press.
Romero was 77.
