LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A salty chip that tastes like an even saltier soup? It’s happening.

Pringles is taking its flavor mashups to new heights – depths? – with its Nissin Top Ramen Chicken Flavor chips, which the company says will be on store shelves only for a limited time in late July.

The roughly $3 chip is partnering with the popular dollar-store soup for a mashup that has some Pringles fans wondering if the snack maker has lost its noodle.

Pringles Nissin Top Ramen Chicken Flavor will only be available in Dollar General stores starting later this month.
