PACOIMA (CBSLA.com) – Two firefighters were among four people injured when an ambulance and car collided in Pacoima Wednesday morning.

The collision occurred at approximately 10:55 a.m. at the intersection of San Fernando Road and West Osborne Street.

The car was stopped at a red light when an ambulance attempted to drive around it, Los Angeles Fire officials at the scene told CBS2. The light turned green, the car began to move, and the two vehicles subsequently collided.

The impact sent the car crashing into a metal sign at KarPlus Warehouse, an auto dealership, fire officials said.
