5 Arrested On Suspicion Of Stealing 40 Cellphones From Coachella Music Festival-Goers

INDIO (CBSLA.com) — Five people have been arrested on suspicion of stealing cellphones from attendees of the ever-so-popular Coachella music festival.

Indio police say they were able to recover more than 40 stolen phones on Saturday, as well as credit cards.

Of those arrested, three were from Los Angeles.

This comes following the theft of 100 cellphones from the music festival last weekend.

In that incident, a New York man was arrested after the victims activated the Find my Phone app.
