Man Robbed, Then Struck By Car In South LA Hit-And-Run

SOUTH LA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say an investigation is underway after a man was robbed and then struck by a hit-and-run driver in South Los Angeles.

The victim was rushed to the hospital where he was listed in critical condition. He was expected to survive.

The incident unfolded around 2:20 a.m. Sunday on Western Avenue near 59th Street. The man was not in the crosswalk at the time of the crash.

So far, no witnesses have come forward.
