Santa Barbara Couple Accused Of Trafficking Heroin, Cocaine, Meth

SANTA BARBARA (CBSLA.com) —  Detectives with the Special Investigations Bureau have identified a couple in Santa Barbara as alleged drug traffickers who peddled heroin, cocaine and meth.

The couple has been identified as 58-year-old Robert Pilbin and 56-year-old Leslie Brooks.

Officials said the couple operated in Goleta and Santa Barbara. They live in the 400 block of E. Cota in Santa Barbara, authorities said.

Sheriff's detectives and Compliance Response Team personnel served a search warrant at their residence Thursday.

The couple was allegedly in possession of 14.7 grams of coke, 22.3 grams of brown powder heroin, 15.6 grams of black tar heroin and 29.4 grams of methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $6,300.

Also, officials said they located $5,000 in cash which was seized as a result of illegal narcotics sales.

The couple was arrested and booked at the Santa Barbara County Jail.

Pilbin and Brooks are each being held on $175,000 bail, officials said.
