Jared Goff Hits Lance Kendricks For 3rd TD Pass Of First Half

Ryan Mayer

Jared Goff's debut for the Rams last week against the Miami Dolphins was fairly unimpressive. However, it's not fair to grade a player, a quarterback in particular based solely off of one start. This week against the Saints, Goff showed why the Rams moved up to take him with the first overall pick in this year's NFL Draft.

The rookie QB threw three touchdown passes, the first of his career, in the first half alone with the final one coming to tight end Lance Kendricks with just under a minute to go in the half.

That cut the deficit to 28-21 at the halftime break. Goff finished the first half completing 12 of his 20 pass attempts for 167 yards and the three scores. Not a bad day at the office so far for Goff and the Rams offense.
