Celebrities Blast Trump Following Leaked Video Capturing Crude Comments About Women

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Celebrities and politicians have taken to social media to weigh in following the release of a leaked video in which Donald Trump is heard making crude remarks about women.

This comes hours after a leaked video revealed a slew of comments by Trump in which he describes his conquests of women.

"I just start kissing them. It's like a magnet. Just kiss. I don't even wait … and when you are a star, they let you do it. You can do anything," he said. Moments later, Trump is heard saying, "Grab them by the p----. You can do anything."

Following the release of that clip, Trump issued a video statement in which he said, "I was wrong and I apologize."

Throughout his campaign, Trump has battled the perception that he disrespects women, charges he has aggressively denied.

On Saturday, a recorded message by Robert De Niro surfaced online, in which the Hollywood icon states:

"He's so blatantly stupid. He's a punk, he's a dog, he's a pig, he's a con," De Niro said in the clip. "He's an embarrassment to this country. It makes me so angry that this country has gotten to this point that this fool, this bozo has wound up where he has."

It remains unclear whether De Niro recorded the message before, or after the release of the leaked video involving Trump.
