Rams Taste Of The NFL Fundraiser Draws Big Crowds, Raises Big Bucks
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — With the Los Angeles Rams sitting on top the NFC West Division, the team is spreading its good fortune to others who aren't as fortunate.
The 1st annual L.A. Rams Taste of the NFL fundraiser, benefiting the Los Angeles Food Bank drew a big crowd of people who wanted to donate, and mingle with the team.
Rams punter Johnny Hekker says this is a cause close to his heart. His mother raised five boys and at times relied on a local food bank to make ends meet.
The silent auction and the big ticket items were expected to bring in big bucks for the food bank.
