Man, 42, Dies Following Hit-And-Run In Riverside

RIVERSIDE (CBSLA.com) — Police Sunday continued to search for the driver responsible for striking and killing a man in Riverside.

The deadly hit-and-run unfolded Saturday night just before 10 p.m. as the victim was crossing Columbia Avenue, west of Mulberry Street.

Authorities said the 42-year-old man died at the scene.

Police say the suspected hit-and-run driver took off in a silver sedan.

No further information was available.
