Edison Worker Killed By Vehicle In Lancaster
LANCASTER (CBSLA.com) — A Southern California Edison worker died Friday after he was hit by a vehicle while standing near a power pole, authorities said.
The worker was near the intersection of 20th Street East and Avenue K in Lancaster shortly before noon Friday when the accident occurred, SCE spokeswoman Mary Ann Milbourn said. The worker's name has not been released.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the accident was taken to a hospital with undisclosed injuries.
The accident is under investigation.
