Suspect Reportedly Wounded In Officer-Involved Shooting In Long Beach

LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com)   —  Long Beach Police allegedly wounded a suspect Sunday evening in an officer-involved shooting.

The incident happened shortly after 10 p.m., according to witnesses.

The condition of the suspect was not immediately clear.

The shooting occurred in the area of Obispo Avenue and the Pacific Coast Highway.

Witnesses said the suspect was involved with police in some kind of standoff.

No officers were injured.
