Academy Of Pediatrics Changes Position On Vaccination Debate

BEVERLY HILLS (CBSLA.com) — The American Academy of Pediatrics has changed its position on how doctors should deal with parents who choose not to vaccinate their children.

The AAP will now allow doctors to decline treatment to parents if they have tried unsuccessfully to persuade them to vaccinate.

Many parents are split on that stance.

One mother likes the option for doctors to refuse treatment, saying it will help keep children healthy in the waiting room. Another mom says the decision is unethical and it’s akin to the academy saying, “We know what’s best for your children.”

CBS2’s Kristine Lazar shows us what physicians and parents had to say about the debate.

    What was the previous policy?

  2. Rod Johnson says:

Any MD that supports mandatory medicine is an existential threat to you and your family. Ask them point blank and walk out if they say yes. All these people trusted their pediatricians and their children got hurt. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YwtxyzmwUgU

Let’s be real. An entire industry that is supposed to be competent to administer, and yet is INCOMPETENT to diagnose injury from vaccines, is a real and actual threat to the health of you and your family.

    1. Rod Johnson says:

My Pedi had no idea what was in the vaccine she was giving my child. I informed her because I actually read the vaccine package insert. Talk about a wake up call.

  4. Evelyn DeCaire says:

Pediatricians are just a well baby check up anymore to vaccinate your babies. ;( You do not need a pediatrician, especially those who dismiss a parents concern. If they were truly worried about the protection of ALL their children, they would read those inserts. Manufacturers such as Merck specifically say Do NOT give certain vaccines within at least 30 days of each other and that is exactly what they are doing. The CDC guidelines for timelines walk all over the warnings on the inserts. Pediatricians with their lack of knowledge are pushing themselves right out of a business.

  5. Walter says:

The AAP is a fraternal organization/labor union that represents pediatricians. Their focus is to keep pediatricians employed and well fed. Your child is a means to that end. Nothing more—no matter what they proclaim.

Vaccines were never about public health. They were always about the money. And now, with rampant vaccine fraud finally being exposed, it’s about protecting the guilty parties from prosecution.

Imagine if you had a multi-billion dollar (criminal) enterprise built on lies. Wouldn’t you fight to the death to prevent those lies from being made public?

It’s no accident that Forbes, Fortune and others have had recent advertorials (ads made to look like news articles) published to quell the anti-vaccine movement. That’s fine with me. Because the longer the debate goes on, the brighter the light shines on the corrupt CDC, FDA and pharmaceutical industry.

Rats, roaches and the medical mafia hate being exposed to light.

Do you really want to know why pediatricians are kicking parents who refuse to vaccinate out of their practices? Its all about the $$$. Blue Cross Blue Shield pays pediatricians $400 per fully vaccinated child. If your pediatrician has just 100 fully-vaccinated patients turning 2 this year, that’s $40,000. Yes, Blue Cross Blue Shield pays your doctor a $40,000 bonus for fully vaccinating 100 patients under the age of 2. If your doctor manages to fully vaccinate 200 patients, that bonus jumps to $80,000.
But here’s the catch: Under Blue Cross Blue Shield’s rules, pediatricians lose the whole bonus unless at least 63% of patients are fully vaccinated, and that includes the flu vaccine. So it’s not just $400 on your child’s head–it could be the whole bonus. To your doctor, your decision to vaccinate your child might be worth $40,000, or much more, depending on the size of his or her practice. I am willing to bet other Insurance company’s have similar bonus programs.
