Homeless Man Stabbed By Several Attackers In Anaheim

ANAHEIM (CBSLA.com) — A homeless man was critically wounded after being stabbed by several attackers near a park in Anaheim Tuesday, police said.

Officers were sent out to the 1100 block of La Palma Parkway at 1:45 a.m. on a report of a man bleeding and found the victim in a parking lot, Anaheim police Sgt. Daron Wyatt said. Before he was taken to a nearby hospital, Wyatt said the victim reported he had been jumped by several men.

Officers searched the immediate area and arrested one man, police said. The suspect was later identified as Joshua Shawn Ryan, 23, who Wyatt said is also a transient. He was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and robbery.
