16-Year-Old Boy Hospitalized After Being Shot At Chaffey High School
ONTARIO (CBSLA.com) — Detectives Friday investigated the circumstances surrounding a shooting that took place on the grounds of Chaffey High School in Ontario.
According to police, gunfire rang out around 9:30 p.m. Thursday at the school located near 4th Street.
Upon their arrival, authorities located a 16-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound.
Paramedics transported the victim, who does not attend classes at the high school, to a hospital where he remains listed in serious condition.
There were no school functions happening at the time of the shooting, detectives said.
No suspect description has been provided at this time.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
